Hi, I’m Bryony!

As a Speech and Language Therapist with thirteen years experience, I’ve seen the power of early support to help children become confident communicators.  The sooner you understand your child’s communication development, the sooner the two of you can really get to know each other and enjoy the process.

Parents often describe the confusion and stress when seeing their child struggle, but are often told to simply wait and see if they’ll catch up. The good news is, you don’t have to just wait and wonder. There’s lots we can do right now.

When you have simple strategies and tailor-made support, you can start having conversations together.  It’s pretty incredible to see that spark grow as your child learns how to tell you what’s on their mind.

This online package gives you bitesize videos with practical ideas to build your communication together, step by step.

Toddler Talk: online course for late talkers

What parents say:

Before I started this course, I was lost. I wasn’t sure how to help my little girl, or what I should be doing. I felt very low and not enjoying being mum. Since completing the course I cannot believe the progress my little girl has made and how much more empowered I feel as her parent in helping her to communicate, with myself and our family.

We really look forward to spending some focussed time together every day. I notice more the kinds of things that we can do together and enjoy trying new things. I think more about following her lead and waiting for her to look in day to day situations like cooking.

I invested while waiting for Rory’s speech and language therapy referral and HIGHLY recommend it. I found when trying to get info on encouraging speech, the information was overwhelming, but this has made it SO EASY!

FAQs

What age should my child be for this programme to be useful?

I specifically designed this package for parents of 2 years olds who aren’t yet talking, or saying only a handful of words. The strategies are also applicable to a broader age range.  If this sounds like support that you’d find valuable and you’d like to talk about how it could apply to your unique child, then you can simply get in touch to talk it through.

I know all children develop at different rates, so why don’t I just wait and see if my child will catch up?

You are absolutely the expert on your child, so it’s important to do what feels right. If you’ve read this far, perhaps you feel a need for something more supportive than ‘wait and see’. We know that getting the right help early on can make all the difference for a child’s development. But even more than that, this is about helping you feel comfortable and confident in knowing what’s next for your child. Sometimes there’s a gap between ‘early identification’ (e.g. the 2 year check) and ‘early intervention’ (i.e. the right help at the right time). This package is intended for those facing that gap.

How will I know if my child’s made progress?

We’ll keep track of progress through short video clips and an online evaluation form.  The main success measure is YOU feeling more confident and capable in helping your child progress as part of your everyday play.

Isn’t helping children learn to talk just intuitive stuff?

For some children, yes! But, if your child is slow to respond to everyday chit chat, it’s easy to get lost along the way. This programme will help you focus on specific strategies that make the biggest difference and avoid some common pitfalls along the way.

How can I be confident that it’ll make a difference?

This package is based on the evidence around parent-child interaction therapy and early speech and language strategies. I’m confident that this package will transform your play and conversation together. If you’re not entirely happy, you can have a full refund within the first 28 days.
